In 2024, my older sister Kiona left her full-time corporate job for a smaller nonprofit role, and was itching for a new venture to fill her newfound free time. She had always enjoyed educating others about personal finance, and thought a comic series about the topic could be a fun way to share this passion. She reached out to me to collaborate on the project - Kiona doing the writing, me doing the illustrating. The FUNDamentals is currently on hiatus due to a change in Kiona's work schedule, but we hope to return to it sometime in the future.
